Hello everyone. This is my first post on here so I figured Id say hey.
Anyways, I have a 07 GMC Sierra Z71 6.0 max and for some reason it is shift hard into 2nd. Not all the time though. It only seems to happen if I am easing into it and its like it almost forgets its suppose to shift then is like oh shit, I forgot sorry and shifts and shifts pretty hard. I don't hear any clunks or grinds just the jolt from it shifting. It doesn't happen in any other gears or downshifting just from a 1st to 2nd.
Any help would be awesome. Ive heard that I can disconnect my battery to reset but that doesn't always help it and heard I could chip it. So yeah that's my story.
