Ok so I went to go to work and my truck wouldnt start. it sound as if it was flooded. I got a ride to work and came home later that night and tried starting it after a few trys and the a jump it finally started. when it was running it would idle from 500 rpms to 1000. i was told to replace the fuel pressure regulator after two hours of labor i did. it started and ran great for a couple. Before this the truck would take a few trys to start but eventually start. on this day it did not. After replacing the regulator like i stated it ran good up until today i got in it and it did want to start acted as if it was flooded. after i drained the battery I let it charge and with a job i cranked it over a few times and it finally started. what the hell is causing this?? it has new plugs, cap and rotor. no green or white build up I checked for it. I have 61 psi for fuel pressure when i turn the key on. could it be a sticking egr or possibly a leaking valve in the spider injection system?

Have your ICM checked, I know its a shot in the dark and most of the time when they do start to go bad. They fail when they heat up or they just don't work at all.

Start with that and also try cycling your ignition 3 times before your try to start the engine. The fuel pressure check valve my be bad and your losing your fuel pressure prim to get the engine started.

Keep us posted and good luck ;)
