We have an 04 Envoy; Always, ALWAYS thought the headlights were damned wimpy on this thing. A couple of years ago, we were driving thru Tulsa from our home in SE Arizona to Columbus OH...after dark,and took an exit off I-44 for dinner; little did we know the exit was very VERY tight, a short hairpin turn, and we nearly ran off the road because of the headlights on this thing. Well, I noted then that I need to get them looked at. Made a note but forgot about it.
Then last summer, I replaced ALL the bulbs with Lumenics 5150K temp bulbs to 'brighten things up'...which it did, but not all that much.
Two weeks ago I adjusted the headlights and WOW, what a difference.
