Hey folks..
New to the forum.
Just picked up 2000 GMC 2500 4x4 (6L vortec)
Currently suffering from a Mopar hangover and stoked to be back in a GM!
I'll post some pictures in a bit.. and I'll be reading threads to help me get re-acquainted with the GM line, get ideas , tips , help , etc.
I'd like to start by knowing exactly what I have...so if someone could point me in the direction of understanding the VIN , tranny identification etc that would be great. This will also help me in determining if the prev owner has added/taken away or swapped anything that I haven't noticed.
Though I'll be reading the forum for many things, I'd ultimately like to find someone with the same year/model that I can "buddy up" with and share info etc as I re-kindle my relationship with GM
