Sorry for the long post
Hello, I had an odd thing happen yesterday while I was waiting in car line to pick my son up from school. Car was running, but in park. Suddenly the door locks start locking and unlocking themselves rapidly. I was not touching anything. Then the car started intermittently beeping and saying to check Stabilitrack, and check traction control. The check engine light was coming on and then going off again. The carline started moving so I put the car in drive and attempted to move. I stepped on the accelerator and nothing happened for about 10 seconds and finally the car started to slowly move. I picked up my son and started to drive home a few blocks, but my car was super sluggish and would take a good 10 seconds to accelerate after stopping at a stop light. I decided to not chance it and pulled over and called a tow truck. Today the mechanic called and said the car is working fine, and they couldn’t find any issues with it. The check engine light is off and they were able to drive the car 20 miles with no problems. We are all scratching our heads here….
I am a little hesitant to drive it if that is going to happen again. Any advice is appreciated!

Hello,

It sounds like you had a concerning experience with your car's behavior while waiting to pick up your son. The rapid locking and unlocking of door locks, along with warning messages and sluggish acceleration, can be worrisome. While the mechanic found no issues, it's understandable to feel hesitant about driving it again. I'd recommend having the vehicle thoroughly inspected by a trusted mechanic who can diagnose any potential underlying issues causing these symptoms.
