I own a 2005 GMC Canyon and recently bought a XM Satellite Radio Receiver (Delphi Skyfi2).
Problem is that I have no tape deck and cannot use the tape to hear my satellite radio, so I am stuck having to use the wireless FM transmitter that is built into the receiver.
Problem is that since I live in a metropolitan area, there is so much static that I cannot hear anything at all.
Is there any other way I can listen to my satellite radio?
I appreciate it as I know nothing about this, thanks.
no, it doesn't have a headphone jack.
about the wired modulator, is that way better quality? do i have to get someone else to install it? i don't know much about cars/audio.

Have you tried to change the fm channel on your xm? You might find one that works better.. Otherwise you will have to get a skyfi wired fm modulator. By chance does your factory stereo have a headphone type jack in the front of it? Most new cars are comming with it now. If so you can get a 3.5mm stereo cable at radioshack and plug in to the audio out on your skyfi and plug right in the front of your radio
