I have a 1996 gmc sierra k2500 with the 5.7 vortec I just did a complete tune up on it new plugs, wires,cap,rotor,ignition coil and module, and now it's has a hesitation when you try to accelerate no codes coming up have checked all wires connection 4 times now and check for vacuum leaks and still doing it what I'm I'm missing?

if you still the old cap and rotor
is the burn mark on the rotor in the center of the end
if it is off center badly the distributor needs to be turned
now this if your '96 is crank triggered ignition
my '98 had a miss when I replaced my cap and rotor, I saw the burn mark was way off
turned the distributor no more miss and ran better
