My 2003 Sierra was hit and it ran after the fact, keep me warm for about 10 minutes until medics etc showed as someone called in a wrong address, I shut it off with the key, now my 1500 sle ext cab will not start .. batty connected, no security light blinking, power to relay for fuel pump.. but acts like no fuel pump, as the impact was very hard on the drivers side and did damage to the fuel filler goose neck, is it possible that the fuel pump just stopped working?
any one have any suggestions, the shop that is trying to get it running has few options... the body shop has to pull the box, and to me that would be the time to put in new pump,, could the relay of gone bad... ??? Suggestions..
I just bought this truck and a no insurance run away person did this... trucks in the Pacific nw are high price and hard to come by, it took a year to find this low mileage 89k two owner local truck.. I had it cleaned and undercoated and 2k worth of new tires and wheels, my insurance wanted to total but I can't find another truck GMC of 2003-5 as they are bring them from Canada and they are very rusted...
