...reconnecting battery, will need to input code? I need to know how to find the Auto theft code for my 2005 GMC Sierra truck. After replacing new battery, the vehicle will require that I input the auto theft code in order to reconnect the radio. Where do I find this code?

your local GMC dealer should be able to get the code from the manufacture. by using your vehicles VIN. numbers. i don't know what if any charge there will be. they will ask for proof of ownership. you must go in person. they won't give out this info. over the phone. i'm sure you understand why. if for some reason they can't . they should be able to tell you how to get the codes. i'm Pretty certain they will be able to help you.
