Log on to Kijiji.ca in Canada and Kijiji.com in the USA. You'll find lots of used cars a SUV there. I picked up a used 1997 Blazer 2 door for my son, X-mass and all for $500.00. Body and engine is great but had transmission issues, the person was tired of putting money in to it and the transmission had problems and wanted it out of his life. Took it home and started working on it and found the wire harness at the transmission where is clips on to was cracked and damaged. Repaired the wire harness and the transmission seams to work fine, but i have seen the Jimmy's and Blazers go for around $1,500.00 for the years your looking for without much issues or the dealers have them in there for around $2,500.00. Good luck and keep us all posted, just pay attention to the front end for worn parts as 98jimmykat has experienced.
