How do I tell if I have it on backwards or not?
Also, can anyone direct me to some good schematics [free] of the transmission/drive-train?
Whoops, apparently I meant to call it a flex plate - It's an automatic
thanks
Are we talking fly wheel or flex plate? If you have a manual transmission it is a fly wheel, an automatic transmission uses a flex plate. The manual trans will have a machined surface that is used for the clutch and the flex plate is a matched alignment of bolt holes that will only match up when in the correct position. The flex plate will also on some applications have a beveled edge that goes away from the crank when mounted correctly. Good Luck
