how to pull stubborn relay from fuse box in GMC Sonoma?

I'm trying to relieve pressure from fuel line prior to replacing fuel filter. I need to remove the fuel pump relay from the fuse box. I tried pulling it out but it will not come out. Any ideas? The relay is in a plastic case and I don't want to damage it.

I would try disconnecting the battery, then spray some wD40 on it, wait 5 minutes, and wiggle it loose with large plyers. If it breaks, buy a new one, once you retrieve all the parts out of the fuse box. If you break it, you might be able to borrow a fuse from another part of the box, providing they are the same amperage. I carry spares from other cars I have owned that got recycled. I emptied the fuse panel completely from my 98 Malibu when it died and am using those as spares.
