Hello,
I noticed a humming sound that seems to get louder upon acceleration. This sound is more like bearings but is extremely hard to determine where it's coming from. Sometimes even when coasting down to a stop I can hear the humming sound. If I'm riding on the Thruway and put it in HI all wheel drive the humming sound dissipates but not entirely.
I had the rear pinion bearing, inner and outer look into and the gears in the differential are working fine. Does anyone have an idea what this could possibly be? Thanks.
Envoy 2004 XL SLT with about 96,000 Miles.
