I have 97 GMC JImmy and the only way I can start it is to spray it with starter

fuel injected,had a fuel vent replaced on fueltank,wondering if there are sensers i need to ck or where to start to look for the problem,runs fine once started,but have to spray everytime i shut it off thnx

I have had the same problem, but it was the fuel pump that was bad.
Go to Murrays auto parts for a new one. They'll sell you a fuel pump with a lifetime warranty. I've changed fuel pumps twice!
