I have a 1995 GMC Jimmy that won't start up.?

Every time I turn the key over, it acts like its about to start up but it don;t.

are the battery terminals clean and tight? what about the battery, is it fully charged?

Sounds like the engine is turning over. Once you have ruled out the charging system, fuel will be the next step. GM's are known for fuel pump issues. Have someone else crank the vehicle and try hitting the gas tank under the vehicle with a rubber hammer etc. More than likely it will start up.

you might need a new battery, they usually test them for free at auto zone
