start to drive? It was snowing this morning so i put it in four wheel drive. When i come to a stop and go again it has a load clunk. It sounds like it is comeing from the passenger front side. When i put it back into two wheel it doenst to it. Does anyone know what it might be?

Sounds like a u-joint or possibly the transfer case. You should have it looked at before it causes more damage. If the u-joint lets go while under load the small drive shaft used to power the front wheels may come loose and beat the crap out of the under carriage of you suv or worse. Good luck to you

The front prop shaft don't have U joints, there CV joints like the front wheel. Most likely it's going to be the front wheel CV joint or the rear drive shaft U-Joints. It's also been know for the front differential locking hub not to engage fully causing the problem, but that's rare. Put the truck in 4X4 and make tight S turns in a small parking lot with the windows rolled down and listen for any clicking noises which would indicate a bad CV joint to your front wheels. If it's is, take it to a transmission shop since there more familiar with replacing CV joints and can get the job done in about an hour. Good luck and Merry Xmas.
