if they fit and all the lugs fasten all the way its fine

The difference between a 2wd rim and a 4wd rim is the back space. 2wd rims are 4" back space while the 4wd rims are 6" back space. Yes you can put 2wd rims on a 4wd but the rim is going to stick out past the fenders roughly 2".
