...not Want To Start. It Cranks? But It Won't Start. I Had Put New Plugs, Wires, Rotor Cap,distributor Cap In March. We Check The Distributor Cab. Again It And It Look Like It Had Been On There For Years. And The Rotor Didn't Look Too Hot Either. I Got Another New Distributor. Clean The Rotor. Thinking Of Buying Another Rotor. Bought Another Fuel Filter. And It Still Won't Start. You Can Hear The Fuel Pump As Soon As You Turn The Key And It's Sound Start. It's Getting And Fuel You Can Smell The Gas After Turning The Engine A While. After Turning A Few Turns Like It Wants To Turn On But Doesn't. Its Sound Like A Lawn Mower Trying To Turn On. Could It Be The Pickup Coil. Is It Not Getting Enough Fire. It's A V8 With 5.0

Remove and gave your ICM (Ignition Control Module) tested at Auto Zone or Parts Source, both test free of charge. The other thing also to check is your ignition coil, make sure the wire leads are good and gave the coil tested also.
Just to make sure it's not your fuel pump, test the fuel pressure at the shredder valve. You need 62-65 PSI of fuel pressure to have the fuel injectors work to start the engine on the Vortec family engine. Anything less will give you a no start also without any check engine light on.
