well the dash meter is normal and right now the heat is not coming out at all

Need more info. It can simply need a blower motor replacement unless its the actual temperature not getting hot enough. In that case it could be the thermostat stuck open, or opening too soon, never allowing the temperature to build up enough. If your dash's temp meter is within normal readings then its not the temperature. Other things can be an inoperable heater core valve or a plugged heater core.

If your mode actuator moves the door at all, then it might not be totally dead yet, but there's a tiny chance it needs to calibrate itself for min and max positions. Without a dealer scan tool, you can do it yourself by turning the car off, removing the HVAC-B fuse for ten seconds, installing the fuse, starting the car and don't touch the HVAC controls for 40 seconds.

As always, a failure like this could have set some DTC codes, and if you have a code reader or borrow one from Autozone, anybody like me with a factory manual could look 'em up and home in on the root cause.
