no its not a commercial vehicle, but i have been registering it as commercial for the last 3 years and have been paying to much for tag when i dont need to, so i was seeing if it had to be registered as commercial.

In the wonderful California if you have a pickup no matter what if you don't have commercial plates you can not have anything in the bed. If you have so much as a brick for example you will be find. If you car plates you can't have nothing in the bed. Hope this answered your question.
