We wanted to get it serviced before we leave to go back home... but cant. How far can we drive with the truck being like this? Is it dangerous? Will it cause more damage? Or will it be okay? Please only answer if you know for sure. I dont need random answers that are just wanting to write.

Thanks so much

if the ball joint is badly damage it could come a part causing an accident or damage to the truck.the alignment will only cause the truck to pull on one side and wear on the tires.

If the ball joint is that bad that it is throwing off the alignment, get the ball joints replaced before driving it. A ball joint to fail on highway speeds can kill you and others around.

Never replace suspension and steering parts with cheap after market parts. You can ether buy the OEM or upgraded parts, but never replace them with cheap in expensive parts.

Good luck and hope this helps.
