...circuit? when we checked the code on the computer it says that the Initiator circuit voltage low we do not know what this means
 
Customer Concern: Air bag light on, code 26 for driver initiator circuit open.

Tests/Procedures: Use a 2 ohm resistor in place of air bag clock spring to isolate circuit.

Potential Causes: Bad clock spring, wiring problem,
Bad DERM or bad air bag.

Tech Tips: Using a 2 ohm resistor in place of the air bag clock spring will make DERM think air bag is hooked up. If the code will clear, then the problem is in the column. If the same code comes back, go to the DERM wiring to the column.
