i have a gmc s15 1994 jimmy v6 vortec need help

the engine is getting fuel and it is sparking but wont start the fuel pump gets powered on but just cranks when the keys turned and the spark plugs when i took them out were covered in gas i have changed map sensor ignition coil and sending unit the injectors have been replaced b4 i bought the truck and i replaced the idle air control valve and the ignition control module and wires and plugs but if you dry off the plugs and start it it will fire up and idle but give it gas and it stumbles and back fires through the intake and shuts off
 
you need a scan tool. If you know how to read one buy one at sears there like 150 bucks.

If you don't understand how tgo read one (data stream) time to take it to a shop. Pick a good shop not a chain shop.
 
it shows no codes when it did it showed a map sensor code but i cleared it and replaced the map sensor im going to c if replacing the fuel regulator would help on the injector
 
replaced the fuel regulator it cranks over but wont hit it is getting fuel and spark and pump works even reset the pcm but still wont start plugs are black and smell of gas

i have a scan tool replaced what code it said was wrong with it but still dose this
 
checked the timming chain it hasn't moved so thinking its a stuck valve going to use a cap full of sea foam in the oil and try to clean the valves with out opening the head up but if dnt work going to have to open the head and replace gaskets
 
ok so you have a scan tool great. Don't just look for codes some vthings just don't set codes so you will never find them that way.

Look at the data stream and make sure your temp sensors are reading corrcetly. Sounds like your temp sensor is reading neg 40 below. this would cause your problem your having.

If you can see the data stream then unplug the temp sensor and jumper the two wires togeter. This will make the temp 240 degrees. Will run diffent and should make the black smoke go away if this is your problem. let us know.
 
its running now but idling like crazy the timing was off b4 it was running so we fixed it then started it and it surges a bit and oil pressure is low the oil pressure switch we tested it it was bad and its connected to the fuel pump relay so that might b my prob or a weak pump or a egr valve gone bad more details latter
 
i have replace the oil pressure sensor and fuel pump and b4 i did that i drove it up a hill to see if there was hesitation in acceleration and it acted like the gas wasn't able to get to the pump at a incline and it shut off the engine and i had to coast it off the hill and so i put a new fuel pump on it and changed the oil pressure sensor but still it dies with acceleration and back fires thru intake when the engine has been running for a while the oil pressure sensor fitting broke off into the block and i had to take and put a replacement fitting on it but still the oil pressure lvl goses down when gas is pushed and shuts off the engine
 
got the jimmy running replaced the injector and knock sensor but a code 43 is on and we've replaced it so idk what else could b causing the esc to send a signal to the ecm 4 a code engine runs better than it ever did tho still a check engine light but its still runs so idk what to check
