I have an 85 suburban 4wd - i just purchased an 87 gmc suburban 2wd - are

frames the same ? Will body mounts be correct -wheelbase same ? etc. - i intend to put 2' body lift on it for floorpan and tire clearance since they are different. help? I understand the minor things that need to be altered - i wanna know frame Q&A and mount locations etc?

No,completely different up front. The 4x2 frame doesn't have the locations to mount the front axle and springs.
