i lost my key to my gmc sierra. i need to know how to move it from park to netrual?

its blocking the mail box and i need to move it asap. its a 93 gmc seirra. 350 single cab 2 wheel drive. can anyone help me out. i heard there was a pin/switch that is on the transmittion but i dont know what they are talking about or where it is located on the tranny.

Keep it simple and block the wheel to keep the sierra from moving, once that is done. Jack up the rear axle and disconnect the drive shaft. (4 bolts) Once you have removed the drive shaft, you can lower the Sierra and push it forward or back wards.

As to getting your keys cut, just go to the dealer with prof of ownership and the vin number and they can cut you a new set of keys.

Good luck and be safe, don't forget to black the wheels again or place the drive shaft back in place.:eek:
