I Need Help!!!

Ok so I just bought this Suburban off someone! The truck is having trouble maintaining idle I start her up and she sounds awful. A mechanic told me it was probably a vacuum leak where should I look to patch it up. Also I think the guy who originally owned it put the wrong valve cover on the truck could this cause it to run terrible? I need to fix this thing before June of this year I got to go get married in Indiana! Any ideas or advice?

if it is a vacuum leak, you can track it down with a can of starting fluid. Start the burb and with the hood open start spraying small amounts of starting fluid around the hoses until you hear the engine rev then you will know where your vacuum leak is

Maybe try Brake cleaner -- SAFER -- NO BOOM BOOOOM
