convert to a ZR2. How? Hi,
as the question says, I'd like to get more into offroading. I feel I need to get more ground clearance though before I can get started, and the stock size tires are probably also too small. I'm considering doing a suspension lift, but I've also had another idea with the help of this webpage. http://www.s10extremist.org/tech_articles/zr2_comparison.htm
I would like to convert my s-15 Jimmy to a ZR2. The ZR2 uses larger tires and the suspension sits a full 3 inches higher. I go to school in the West Michigan area and grew up in the Detroit area. Detroit is a great place for auto parts, especially American. Because of this, there is a cache of ZR2 parts available to me for cheap. What parts should I take off a ZR2 and put on my Jimmy if I want to have that increase in suspension height? Also, I'm I correct in thinking that the ZR2 and the Jimmy use the same size wheels, and that only the tire size is different?
Thanks,
Dan
