You bet I've been lurking for a while and have my truck for 10 + yr's. One new thing I've noticed is when I bought the truck on 02 I had at least 1 1/2 in from my control arm to the bump stop. And now the front suspension is resting ON the the rubber bump stop and I think the truck a 01 sierra is starting to handle a little weird. I don't think its right. There is a lot of rust in there and I'm thinking that the key has enlarged and let the torsion bar rotate more and maybe the torsoin bar has gotten weak. I have 100K on her and Im thinking about a leveling kit or just cranking it up and an a alignment after wards.
What do you think?
Right now IM riding on my rubber bump stops WTF

Bump

Does anyone know how much distance should be between the control arm and the rubber bump stop. Mine seems much to low,

done

I just did a Rough County Level kit. 4 Nitro shocks and keys and blocks. $ 200 for the kit. I did the shocks and rear lift blocks myself with regular tools and had the shop install the keys and alignment for 200 $ IT IS GREAT. ride is just as expected and no more harsh ride, as my suspension was riding on the frame
