i want to change my 95' GMC sierra 1500 EXT cab to a vortec?

i have a 1995 GMC Sierra 1500 ext cab and it has the 350 in it now and i have a 350 vortec on hand to put in it but i want to know if i would have to change the wiring harnesses so the vortec will run properly i cant find anything on this that tells me if i can
