My 2015 and 2017 have never given me a problem.

Yes I am having this problem too! My brother has a 2015 and he had same problem,local dealer repair it by replacing entire ignition and shift lever. I had mine in and this is what they told me "COULD NOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM" same thing they told me about steering system, 4 times. I finally called GM, they miraculously found a TSB! And fixed that! Thing is, next day after I had it in, key got stuck 3 times! I went back and told dealer to "LOOK IN YOUR TSB's" and when you figure it out call me! Tired of losing the truck for entire day to hear this crap! After over 20 new GMC's and Buicks and Chevys, I AM DONE DEALING WITH GM! Why do we have to FIGHT to get warranty work??? New in 2016, 18,000 miles on it! (yep that is correct, 18,000 miles)
