Hi Gang - my 2017 Yukon Denali has 81k miles. Today, she presented me with a new puzzle. While sitting still, transmission in Drive, brake applied and not moving, at idle; there is a new rattle under the hood. That rattle goes away when I apply the slightest load. To me, it sounds a little like the exhaust system is rattling, but things in that area appear properly secured. A friend thought it was a loose tensioner for the serpentine belt. The local dealer wants $120/hour to look at it. But I'm betting the crew on this forum has pretty good idea what the top 2-3 likely causes may be. Any ideas off the top of you head?
