Interchanging wheels

I own a 2006 Sierra 2500HD with a Duramax. I have the stock 16" x 6.5" wheels on it and was wanting to change them to a different factory wheels off a 2009 Sierra 2500HD that is 17" x 7.5". I already know the speedometer will be off 2mph with the tires that are on the rims Im looking at.

What I want to know is will they fit correctly and spacing be correct looking?

The answer is that they will fit without any modifications. It took me al ittle time to find it but incase anyone needs it for future reference.

They should fit no problem as long as they are OEM GM wheels.
