I have a 2010 GMC Sierra crew cab 4x4 1500 with the Z71 option, it has a solenoid a little smaller than a pop can under the back edge of the drivers seat with an 1/8 cable coming out and going up forward between the seats under the carpet. the truck has elc. running boards AMP but the manufacture says its not part of the running boards. anybody have an idea what it does?

got it figured out, its the brake actuator for when its being towed,
