Hi, new to the forums, wanted to join a GM forum for a while now, hope this one is the one. Thanks for having me.
Big GM fan, never had nothing else but GM cars and trucks all my life.
So I have a GMC Jimmy 2002, bought in 06 with 60k on it, now at 120k and questioning if its time to change or not. Went to a GM official dealer to get the 64 points inspection and got the following:
(translated from french form)
- Oil leak between motor and transmission
- Oil leak at tale of transmission
- Noisy rear link kit
- Rusted back plates
- 4X4 not working
- upper ball joint to be checked
I know it seems like a lot of issues, but the truck runs so gooooood.
So I was debating putting the money and keeping it.
The other option is "parking" it and get a GMC Canyon 2010
Any advice from Jimmy owners?
thank you for anyones time
