I have a Service Engine code on my 2001 Sierra. The code is p0332 which is the Low input knock sensor. My question is, can spark knock be great enough to throw up this code?

The most common cause for this is corrosion to your knock sensor on top of the intake manifold. It's PITA but it happens as the engine get's washed and power washing it will cause this issue. Here is a link that should help you understand the issue you are having and what you need to address.
