Lift For 02 Sierra

I have a 2002 GMC Sierra Extended cab 4x4. Currently i have 305/16/70 Mickey Thompson Baja Claws. As of now they dont rub at all and the truck looks alright. I want a 3 inch lift all around. Ive torqued the front up to the max and im afraid the parts will start wearing down. Ive been looking at this lift http://www.jcwhitney.com/body-lift-kit/p2005819.jcwx?filterid=d50435y2001g183j1 I found a shop in town that will lift it but i have to be sure they can put this specific lift in. Anyway when i was talking to him he said that if i wanted 3 inches i should get bigger keys and blocks made from Rough Country. I just need an opinion on whether the lift kit would be better or if blocks and keys is a legitimate answer for a lift. Any feedback would be helpful. Thank you for reading

Should be fine. You might need a stabilizer for the rear if you want to do some off-roading. Rough Country sells those.
