I have a 2009 GMC Hybrid, it's backed by a 6.0L V8, aluminum block and all that good stuff, but I also wanted it to look better and be a little taller, so I was thinking, getting a 3 inch lift with better tires, would this sound good? or would I look like an idiot doing so? if it isn't what size tires and lift would you recommend?

I think that with all the additional electronic crap that a hybrid would have on it, you're playing with fire. you're going to lose fuel milage with a lift and bigger tires.

So......what was the point in buying the hybrid again? Did you just want the plug-in receptacle in the bed of the truck? If so, a small generator or a large inverter would have been a better way to go.

the mileage on those things is horrible...all they really did was come up with a great way to get people to shell out way too much money...

Before you go off and start lifting your ride, check with your local GM dealer to see if there is going to be a warranty issue. Remember you have a Hybrid and to do repair's on that will be expensive and to void your warranty would be a bad thing. The other thing you have to also looking in to is your local by laws and state laws on how high you can raise the truck from stock height.

Not to give you a hard time, but these are some of the things your going to have to look in to when you have a new Vehicle and what to modify a few things, even if it's for the better. Good luck friend and keep us posted on how your project is going to look.
