when headlights are off the a/c works fine, when I turn the headlights on it shuts off the a/c and just HOT air come out. Even the a\c indicator lights on dash go out. Any one had similar problems? any help greatly appreciated. I am wondering if headlight switch is shorting or something.

if you turn the head lights on while are at highway speeds do it do it
does it do it with only the headlights or does it do it with only parking lights also
you would have to think if there was a short it would pop a fuse
dash indicator goes out that is puzzling
