lost keys

So, we lost our only set of keys to an '89 s15 jimmy. Is it still possible to contact a dealership and order a key? Or can I replace the ignition tumbler without having an original key? Or will I be forced to pay a locksmith to come out and make a new ignition key?

Doesn't look like key is needed -
Go to You tube , type in -
make Key for GM Ignitions 1969 1990s

note - have a note pad to write down the " special " tools you ( or the person
you con into it ) will need
PS - disconnect battery to be on safe side.
