so i have a 1999 sonoma thats making a clunking noise in the rear end. i have replaced the rear end already, the ubolts and driveshaft, full brake work including re building calipers, rotors and pads. transmission was rebuilt also. the only thing that has not been touched is the suspension. though it doesnt seem to be coming from that. the noise is only when the vehicle is on its tires. meaning i have put it on jack stands and and put in gear and heard no noise. and when the accelerater is pressed... some one please help me on this. I am deffinately not a technician but i prefer to do my own work. any advice would help a lot. thanks in advance.

i heard that maybe the torsion bar mounts get worn out too...sometimes i hear it in my 2000 gmc 4x4....just an idea, maybe someone knows how to check that or just research it.....goodluck to u
