Max Tire Size 1996 GMC Suburban No Lift

I'm wondering what tire size I can put on without any rubbing on my 96 suburban 4x4

i believe you can run a 285/75/16 but any larger and it will rub on the frame

i have 265/75/16 on mine now and have about 3/4-1" clearance on my frame at full lock

I have 285/75R 16 tires on my '96 2500 for now. Going to go back to stock 245/75 16 to get some gas mileage back.
