Mirrors and keyless entry? 03

Hello

Everytime I lock the car with the fob and then unlock with the fob the mirrors both driver and passenger move out of whack, all the way down usually. Starting the car and putting it in drive doesn't change the mirror position reset by the unlock button. How can I disable the mirrors from moving when unlocking the car or fix this problem. Its a real pain in the butt!

Do you have Memory Seating in your vehicle? It has a lot to do with it.

If you have the memory set so the mirrors go back to the same position for you every time you use that kefob but suddenly they are not going back to that position then your mirror motor may be going up. That happend to mine. Luckily, still under extended warranty when it happened.

GMC is noted for its roving mirrors. A lot of GMC owners have this problem without results from the dealerships. My advice is to get used to it. It really sucks when in traffic and realizing I can't see out of my roving mirrors. I hate it and worry about accidents because of them.
Oh ya, my seats don't stay in position either, but it is the mirrors that are dangerous.
