...vortec-any help? My 1994 GMC Jimmy is acting up about 3 miles down the road. Basically when it reaches operating temp. It will start out by hesitating, then it gets worse and worse until I'm lucky that I make it home. There is "NO" check engine light on.

I have changed the EGR valve before and have taken it out many times and cleaned it. I also bought a gasket with a screen for it. So does anyone else had this experiece?

Start with the simple and if the fuel filter has not been replaced in a while, try replacing the fuel filter first. The fuel filter should be replaced every 15,000 miles or once a year to ensure your fuel system is running 100%. Also recheck your EGR valve, it's common for your EGR to get plugged as you already know about it. Start with that and keep us posted, be glad to know your jimmy is running 100% again soon.
