Hi, I have a 1998 GMC Sonoma and i cant get it to start. originally i thought it was the starter so I replaced that (we checked the starter and it works perfectly) I took the dash off and tried to start it (just for giggles) and it started up just fine. so i put the dash back together tried to start it again and nothing. for the way its behaving i think that it may be a wire issue and i wanted to check the wire that goes from the key switch to the starter but i cant find that wire in all the diagrams i have. does anyone know what color the wire is or maybe have a pic i could look at? Or even have an idea as to what may be wrong with my truck?
Thanks in advance :)
no it wont even turn over its just kinda clicks when i hit the key. i will try starting it in neutral first thing in the morning and post results. thanks everyone :) any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Well i took the dash apart because once i hit a certain spot when i was turning the key the gauges would all jump around.
