Hi, I have a 1998 GMC Sonoma and i cant get it to start. originally i thought it was the starter so I replaced that (we checked the starter and it works perfectly) I took the dash off and tried to start it (just for giggles) and it started up just fine. so i put the dash back together tried to start it again and nothing. for the way its behaving i think that it may be a wire issue and i wanted to check the wire that goes from the key switch to the starter but i cant find that wire in all the diagrams i have. does anyone know what color the wire is or maybe have a pic i could look at? Or even have an idea as to what may be wrong with my truck?
Thanks in advance
no it wont even turn over its just kinda clicks when i hit the key. i will try starting it in neutral first thing in the morning and post results. thanks everyone
any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Well i took the dash apart because once i hit a certain spot when i was turning the key the gauges would all jump around.
Thanks in advance
