my axle went out in my 85 gmc jimmy?

how hard would it be too put a 14 bolt on and to add the right gears (3.73 is what in my 10 bolt)

Very hard, considering the 14 bolt is going to be too wide.

your biggest problem is 14bolt is 8lug, it will bolt in same as old rear axle, but then it will not match front 6lug wheels, the 72 blazer in my pic has 14bolt and 44hd front out of jeep j20 pick up
