My blinkers dont blink on my 91 gmc sierra they just stay solid?

I replaced the dash on my 91 gmc sierra and put new headlights and blinkers/run lights and the lights that are supposed to blink don't blink they just stay solid did i forget a ground wire in the dash or something or do i need a new switch or new relay or what?

Are you sure you inserted the bulbs to the blinkers correctly? the light bulbs WILL fit both ways but there is only one way they should go to get them working correctly. There is like a littlemetal bump soldered to the lightbulbs and they are offset to each other. Make sure they are correctly placed where they are suppose to go. Try it and see if it works.
