I have a 1999 GMC Suburban 1500 5.7L and my shift Mechanism Broke a few weeks ago as I've read they usually do, however when I was changing it I noticed that the baseplate it was attached to was broken as well so I couldn't tighten the mechanism back on properly. My question for you guys is, what is the name or part number for that base plate? I cannot find it anywhere and have had no luck looking for it. I am in the process of changing a few parts on the truck and the shift cable is one of them so I figured I would change the base plate while I'm at it. Thanks in advance everyone!
