need help to figure out what is wrong with my 99 gmc suburban it seems to

want to stall after driving for a wh? after driving a while it wants to stall when i hit the gas,i can cut it off and crank it right back up and it runs fine for a while ,what could it be

if your check engine light is on take it to autozone and get them to put it on the computer. as for other ways it sounds like a good tune up might be in order, but either way a temperature senser sounds like its going bad or even a heat sheld might be missing.

Start with the simple and replace your Fuel Filter, a dirty fuel filter can cause what your have described and if the filter has been in there for more then a year of 15,000 miles. Good chance that thew filter needs to be replaced, filter is located on the inside of the frame rail under the drivers door.

Good luck and keep me posted is you need instructions, but you can pick up the filter at Auto Zone and they will have the step by step instructions for you to get the job done with common tools.
