so i have a problem,, pass side rear running light works, but no break light or turn signal on it,, ive checked the bulbs, switched my drivers side light to the pass side and still nothing,, i ripped the wiring harness appart and have it sitting in the house, the main plug that splits for the passenger side, and drivers side lights was wrapped with electrical tape and when i took it apart im not sure if i pulled the wire out of the connector when taking the tape off or if it was the problem, im searched google cant find my answer, what colors of the wiring harness do what... please help,,

go to a trailer company and buy enough 3 in one wire to reach from the front to rear of your car.. the colors should be brown, yellow, green, ...... the brown wire can lead to the tail and license plate lites and the yellow and green can do the brake and turn signals ... you might find this wire at the local auto supply store and while there ask about a computer print out OR can the parts clerk give you some advice about those wires OR is there a plug-in near the front of the truck and does he sell the new plug that will help you mate the wires ++++All. that will also be under the cab as well as that is where you will make the connections for the rear lights.. if you follow what I am telling you it will be a simple operation to connect up all the rear lites .... AND while you are there buy a """ lite tester""" so you can verify that the turn signals are on the correct wires before you start making the connections .......and that the fuses are good, too... want mo info email me....

Your going to have to go to a parts store and get the repair manual that has
the wiring diagram in it so that you may follow it and know the color codes.
You can also obtain replacement harness gang plugs at places like Napa
or your local salvage.
